Notes
The first cover depicts Eoghanann, a character created and written by a fellow roleplayer (HumbleMud/Slow). I very much enjoy his depiction, and was elated when my friend commissioned me for this piece. I elected to turn it into a series of mock book covers, with elements of the stories we roleplay as a basis of a pretend novel written and curated by ourselves.
The second cover depicts Rhydd, who was created and currently written by Mouse. She is Eoghanann's partner, and in this roleplay we explored the nature of relationships (positive and negative), perspective, and the role of a romantic partner.
The final cover will feature Nadia, my character and Eoghanan's adoptive daughter. While she loves Eoghanann, she is hesitant around Rhydd. Likely the final cover will be a play on identity.
These covers are jam packed with symbolism and deliberate creative color theory I remain very much proud of. Everything from the colors, to the light and shadow, to the type of trees and plants was carefully chosen.
